If you’re to believe popular culture, the world of the professional swindler is a particularly masculine place. After all, it’s con MAN not con PERSON. Even so, fraud is an equal opportunity employer packed with wily and wicked women.

The money-grubbers are fakes. They have nothing for you but lies and tricks, and will take you for all you have by pretending to be able to “fix” your bad luck or the “curse” they say has been laid on you by some imaginary enemy, and so on. Anyone who starts talking about evil spirits, hidden enemies, curses, etc. is playing on your fears in an effort to transfer everything from your bank account into theirs, all for nothing.

There are some truly gifted people in the world, but they tend to be low key and quiet, and only interested in you — and perhaps a modest one time payment for their time — if you find your way to them, not the other way around.

If Someone Rips You Off

How can you tell if a psychic is real or fake?

  • If they opened their mouth and the words “I have magical powers” came out in any variety, they’re fake.
  • If they’re asking you a lot of questions as opposed to telling you things, they might be fake.
  • If they’re doing a lot of things to try to get you into more readings, they’re either pulling a con job on you, are fake, or perhaps both.
  • If they tell you that you have some type of problem that would make you dependent on them to solve it, they’re fake. Or unethical, at the very minimum.
  • If they tell you that you have a lot of demons around you, it might actually be true, but even so, to tell you is unethical, most of the time, if not outright fake.
